The skill involved in antique chain making is breathtaking.

There are no visible solder joins in this beautiful late Victorian nine-carat yellow gold guard chain.

This intricate link is unmistakably English, yet unusual nevertheless. I don’t remember having this particular design before.

Wonderful on its own, it’s also ready to hang a favourite piece from its substantial original dog clip.

It’s long enough and heavy enough to sit well wrapped around the neck three times, too.

Karen's shop has been such a delightful find! It can be hard to find a good antique jewellery shop and some can be very unapproachable. Karen's shop is the opposite! Karen is very welcoming, warm and trustworthy. When you buy something from her shop, you can trust that it is an antique which is not always the case from other sellers in my experience. I have purchased two gorgeous lockets from her which I treasure. Every time I visit, (dangerously) there is always something that catches my eye! If only I could visit more often!
