Ask a question

This lovely nine-carat rose gold watch chain was made in Chester in 1897.

It’s rare to see a gold Albert with a date letter, particularly on one of the links rather than the T-bar, so this is a definite plus.

Composed of handcrafted knots, it’s a pleasing variation on the more standard patterns.

The length is a very wearable 16 1/4 inches, or 41.2cm, and it’s a good weight too at 31.5 grams.
