Here’s a fine Victorian nine-carat rose gold collar.

It’s a good length at 19 1/4 inches (49cm), with a 1 1/2 inch (4cm) locket extension. This can be used to make the main chain even longer – as shown if you scroll through the images.

Wide pierced and curved hollow links alternate with oval joining rings, complementing the simple but striking geometric pattern.

This is lovely worn on its own – or you can hang a favourite jewel from it.
