This antique moonstone and silver star brooch from about 1900 glows from every angle.

The design is highest in the middle and flattens at the edges, giving a pleasing fullness, typical of Victorian jewellery.

The central moonstone is full of light, and there is quite a lot of blue in most of the surrounding stones.

As this piece is deep, there is enough room behind the pin to easily wear it as a pendant. We hung it from a silver collar but it would work well with finer chains, too.
