Ask a question

Ancient Etruscan design permeated mid- to late Victorian jewellery. This sweet 15-carat yellow gold ball pendant or charm is covered with exquisitely fine filigree, inspired by the treasures uncovered by archaeologists in the mid-19th century.

When this was converted from a hat pin, a remnant of the stem was retained so that the heat soldering the top ring did not ruin the original rich colour and matte patina.

• Handmade in 15-carat yellow gold
• Approximately 2.4cm tall, 1.3cm wide
• Weight is 2.1 grams
• In excellent antique condition: this was converted from a hat pin
• Will come in a Karen Deakin gift box
• Note: the antique gold chain is not included
