This lovely late Victorian English three-row ring features untreated Burmese rubies combined with old mine cut diamonds.

The deep oval cut rubies are typical of older pieces. Their intense vivid colour drew me to the ring, as did the lively white diamonds and the generous yet minimal 18-carat rich yellow gold mount.

As it’s in excellent condition, it could be worn daily with care.
