This classic three-stone diamond ring has a centre brilliant cut diamond of about three-quarters of a carat and side stones half the size of the middle one, adding up to about one and a half carats in total. The diamonds are white, lively and well matched.

Dating from about 1940, the handcrafted 18-carat yellow gold mount has a palladium top setting with a pretty side profile like a crown, typically seen in rings from the first half of the 20th century. There are multiple fine split claws, providing a delicate appearance while holding the stones securely in place.

With care, this is a ring that could be worn every day.
