Here’s a lovely ruby and diamond three-stone ring.

An intense, clear red round ruby is flanked by two good brilliant cut diamonds in a minimalist, pretty and sturdy setting, typical of English handcrafted rings from the early to mid 20th century.

The gemstones are the stars here – the lack of fuss makes them timeless.
