Rhoda Wager is highly regarded in both Australia and the UK, as she was an accomplished Arts & Crafts jeweller who trained at the Glasgow School of Art and later settled in Sydney.
She usually worked in silver, or silver with gold highlights.
But here is a rare example of a 14-carat gold pin set with amethysts, possibly from the late 1930s.
The back bears her usual mark and indeed the whole piece is typical of her style.
