Ask a question

Bows are an enduring jewellery motif. This brooch from about 1930 would work so well on a lapel or scarf.

We love the fine setting of the calibré-cut rubies and rose-cut diamonds and the lightness of the pierced 18-carat gold.

This lightness makes it more practical to wear as a brooch – it won’t drag fabric down.

And a gorgeous detail are the flowers that have been carved into the gold by a skilled engraver.
