Less is more. Here we have pared-down late Georgian design embellished with a single word that says so much.

This ring is probably English, despite the French word for friendship or affection, as the simple design suggests English origin – and French was the universal language of love.

The octagonal shape on a horizontal axis offers a contemporary look. And the carnelian has an intense orangey translucence, complimented by the simple 15-carat rose gold setting.

This would be the perfect gift for someone very special.
