Here’s a stunning emerald and diamond Art Deco ring. The 2.73-carat Colombian emerald is an intense velvety green.

This beauty simply refused to play ball with the phone camera. If you can visit us in person to see its actual colour you will surely agree.

The naturally occurring inclusions are far less evident to the naked eye – the first and fourth images convey this best. The overwhelming impression is of a wonderfully deep and supersaturated hue. I’ve never had another emerald like it.

The ring is classic Art Deco, with three quality stepped-down baguette diamonds on each shoulder, in a hand-pierced platinum setting.

The rectangular shapes echo the central stone, bringing unity to the design, and highlighting the emerald without overwhelming it.

It comes with a certificate stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, with minor oil only.
