Ask a question

This beautifully simple gold bracelet from the 1940s is extremely heavy. Each chunky tubular link is cleverly hinged to create a fluid, sculptural form on the wrist.

Interestingly, though there is so much gold, the core is hollow. It would be too heavy to wear comfortably otherwise.

The rich colour of the 18-carat yellow gold adds to its appeal. Old gold alloys give antique and vintage jewellery such variety. Each goldsmith would have an individual mix, giving extra interest to the jewels they created.

• Handmade in 18-carat yellow gold
• Approximately 18.7cm (just under 7 1/2 inches) long, 1.85cm (nearly 3/4 inch) wide
• Weight is 114.6 grams
• In excellent vintage condition
• Will come in a Karen Deakin gift box

I’d be very happy to send more information and images. Layaway available.
