This very charming bracelet calls to mind a Hollywood starlet holidaying in the Italian Riviera. There’s even a suitcase labelled with Italian cities!

Charm bracelets were popular in the 1950s and 1960s, especially in America, at a time when the the rest of the world looked with envy at the affluent United States as fashion leaders.

The bracelet and all but two of the charms are 18-carat yellow gold – the telephone and champagne bucket are 14-carat.

These kinds of bracelets are usually a mixed bag when it comes to quality. Here all the charms are appealing.

And the bracelet holding them is lovely too, which is often not the case.

The length is a generous eight inches, and it weighs a hefty 73.6 grams.
