SOLD: Edwardian ruby and diamond snake ring, hallmarked Chester 1915
$2,144.00
Out of stock
Two eternally appealing snakes twine around this substantial 18-carat gold ring, which is hallmarked for Chester 1915.
The ruby is a vivid true red. It’s paired with a beautiful old European cut diamond.
The size is a generous R, or 8 3/4, so this would suit a larger finger, though it is still sizeable within reason.
The heads are plump and the faces appear to have a happy expression – the mouths are smiling rather than threatening.
