A halo of old European cut diamonds, about 1.25 carats in total, floats around the central diamond of about 1.10 carats.

The fine bezel setting surrounding all the stones emphasises the pretty scallop-shaped border, with its delicate millegrained edge.

The space between the inner diamond and its surround is typical of fine Edwardian jewellery. The slender but strong platinum supports are virtually invisible, creating a lacy etherealness never before seen in jewellery design.
