My eyes lit up when I saw these early Victorian tulip-shaped diamond earrings.

These are so hard to find, as earrings were not the focus of jewellery fashion in the 1840s. They are usually small, like these.

The antique hooks fasten at the front: I can arrange for my jeweller to convert these for a small fee if desired.

The quality of the rose cut diamonds is exceptional – they are unblemished and regularly shaped – and the open setting allows them to shine.

The delicate handcrafted gold and silver topped setting complements them perfectly.
