This elegant version of a double halo ring epitomises the late Edwardian/early Art Deco period beautifully. Flat geometric Art Deco shapes combine with Edwardian refinement.

A vivid Colombian emerald cut emerald centres the octagonal-shaped double diamond surround.

The platinum setting has been precisely pierced between the diamond haloes, adding lightness and delicacy while emphasising the octagonal theme.

The diamonds are further enhanced with a light millegrained edge.

It sits very low on the hand but still has room for an intricate, scalloped side setting as it rises into a flat plaque away from the curve of the finger.

The emerald alone is set in yellow gold, in contrast to the remainder of the platinum mount. This is a common practice, as the warmth of the gold enhances the green of the emerald.
