Ask a question

Here’s a diamond solitaire from about 1930 that might appeal to men as well as women.

The white, bright old European cut diamond is estimated (and the independent expert who values my gemstone rings is very conservative) to be a carat in weight.

The simple but striking design features an imposing platinum V on each shoulder, with the point forming a claw as part of the setting.

The main body of the ring is 18-carat yellow gold.

This is a robust piece that’s suitable for careful everyday wear.

• Handmade in 18-carat yellow gold and platinum
• Deep cut old European cut diamond estimated to total 1.00 carats, graded set as H/piqué 1
• Comes with an independent insurance valuation for $12,250
• Size approximately 8 1/4 or Q, but easily resized free of charge
• Weight is 6.2 grams
• In excellent vintage condition
• Will come in a Karen Deakin gift box (my antique boxes are not for sale)
• Note: the other ring is for sale separately – please get in touch if you’d like information about it

Please examine the photographs carefully – they form part of the description.

I’d be very happy to send more information and images. Layaway available.
