SOLD: Australian Aronson & Co opal cufflinks, circa 1900
$737.00
Out of stock
I couldn’t resist the quality of these turn-of-the-century Australian opal cufflinks – though Sydney’s casual lifestyle these days is making the wearing of cufflinks a rarity.
Made by Aronson & Co about 1900, they feature two beautifully matched opals in a raised oval on one side, with chain-linked torpedos on the other.
Light engraving around the gemstones add a characteristic antique appeal.
The links are clearly marked for Aronson and nine-carat gold on the back of the opal sections.
While the Australian connection is appealing, these are good enough quality to appeal to cufflink and opal buyers anywhere.
