SOLD: Art Deco diamond engagement ring with baguette shoulders, circa 1940
$3,216.00
Out of stock
This Art Deco beauty would make an ideal engagement ring.
The central transitional round brilliant cut diamond is flanked by baguettes in a classic geometric pierced mount.
The proportions are harmonious and the diamonds are high quality – scroll through the photos to see how the centre stone dances with the light.
Transitional cut diamonds – usually found in jewellery from between the two world wars – are my personal favourite.
More reflective than old cuts, and more dispersive than modern cuts, to me they give out the perfect balance of soft bright fire.
