I’ve been told they look like quotation marks or commas. I see these paisley, also known as boteh, shapes and hear music – to my eye they resemble the top part of treble clef.

Platinum swirls spiral out from central rosettes – all of them pavé set with lively white round brilliant cut and single cut diamonds. The clip attachments are 14-carat white gold.

They climb the ear in the fashion of the postwar period – a style I find myself drawn to more and more as it flatters wearers of all ages.
