This late Victorian gypsy-set ring features three quality antique diamonds. There is good reflection in these clear white beauties – not always the case in chunky old cut stones.

The substantial, rich 18-carat yellow gold mount has a simple but striking hand-pierced detail that ends with a trefoil design on either side.

I know many antique jewellery collectors admire the timeless simplicity of this type of late 19th century ring, and appreciate how well a fine example like this works with modern jewellery.

Imposing enough to wear on its own, this would make a wonderful stacking ring too.
