This very appealing antique watch chain is one of a number I have bought lately, both in silver and gold.

It’s long enough to fit most necks comfortably at 16 1/2 inches, and has a good, substantial feel.

The elaborate link is found in some late Victorian English watch chains. I shall soon have a nine-carat gold example to show you, too.

This style of watch chain is harder to find than those with curb links, or variations on trombone links with knots or plain links between. (If you prefer those please check back soon – I shall be getting some listed in the not-too-distant future.)

This is great worn on its own, or add your favourite hanging pieces.
