This late Victorian opal bracelet spoke to me the moment I saw it. It’s so hard to find one with all the original matched stones in a pleasing, delicate mount.

These are Lightning Ridge crystal opals in a 15-carat rose gold fine galleried setting. Mainly blue, they also show greens and pretty pinks.

• 11 Australian natural opal cabochons: graduated, well-matched and original. Estimated weight: three 1.32 carats; two 0.64 carats: six 1.08 carats
• English-made, from about 1900
• Will fit a small to medium wrist, with an inner circumference of approximately 16.5cm (6 1/2 inches)
• Weight is 6.8 grams
• In excellent antique condition: the catch and hinge work perfectly

Karen's shop has been such a delightful find! It can be hard to find a good antique jewellery shop and some can be very unapproachable. Karen's shop is the opposite! Karen is very welcoming, warm and trustworthy. When you buy something from her shop, you can trust that it is an antique which is not always the case from other sellers in my experience. I have purchased two gorgeous lockets from her which I treasure. Every time I visit, (dangerously) there is always something that catches my eye! If only I could visit more often!
