Ask a question

One hundred and forty years old yet still as-new … these 15-carat gold earrings with natural pearls are pristine. My jeweller believes that they have never been worn!

The Archaeological Revival wirework is crisp and the bloomed gold finish is immaculate. I’ve written in my blog about how difficult it is to find good antique earrings. That these have survived for so long and in such good condition is a near-miracle.

I especially like the tiny beads of gold that have been added at the back to ensure that they hang correctly – see the second last image. It’s such marvellous, thoughtful workmanship.

• Handmade in 15-carat yellow bloomed gold

• Set with two natural pearls

• Approximately 2.9cm long (not including ear hooks), 1.5cm wide

• Weight is 4.4 grams

• In pristine antique condition

• Will come in a Karen Deakin gift box (the antique box is not included)

I’d be very happy to send more information and images. Layaway available.
