Ask a question

A locket with a complementary collar was a quintessential Victorian fashion,  especially during the the 1870s and 1880s. Most were silver but there are still examples like this one in 15-carat gold to be found.

Either piece can be worn separately. The hanging extension can also be added to the main collar to extend its length.

When the necklace is worn on its own it sits in a circle, giving a totally different look to the Y shape that’s created by attaching  the locket.

A beautifully hand-engraved monogram adorns the back of the locket, comprising the letters ASC or SAC. And the interior fittings are present, complete with appealing original photos.
