Ask a question

I’m pleased to offer this pair of early 19th century flat cut garnet pansy earrings.

They are set in 15-carat gold and have lovely bright stones.

It’s likely they were converted from sections of an antique necklace, as so many examples like this were. The lack of a similar, garnet-set top is the main clue to this.

Given the rarity of complete late Georgian examples, these charming earrings are a more affordable and available alternative.

• Handmade in 15-carat yellow gold
• Set with 12 flat cut garnets
• Approximately 16mm tall (not including eat hooks), 16mm wide
• Weight is 3.3 grams
• In excellent antique condition: the ear hooks are new
• Will come in a Karen Deakin gift box (the antique box is not for sale)
• Note: the other jewellery has sold

Please examine the photographs carefully – they form part of the description.

I’d be very happy to send more information and images. Layaway available.
