Ask a question

Here’s a pretty vintage sapphire and diamond cluster ring.

The unheated sapphire is a very appealing stone – bright but not glassy, like a lot of heat-treated ones are. The surrounding diamonds are white and lively.

The millegrain setting around the stones add delicacy. The cut-off corners on the sapphire and the engraved low mount are also pleasing details.

• Cushion-cut natural untreated blue sapphire estimated at 0.80 carats
• Ten round brilliant-cut diamonds surrounding the centre stone estimated at 0.25 carats, graded set as G-H/VS-SI
