Here’s an exciting find – a rare late Georgian 18-carat gold zodiac ring. This is the first time in my 45 years in the trade that I’ve owned one.

I love the soft engraving around the borders, an indication of its age. Fine inner borders of twisted gold frame the symbols.

I have left the band beneath the star signs in its oxidised state, as it gives an interesting contrast of dark and bright to the overall appearance.

• Handmade in 18-carat yellow gold
• Approximately 7 1/4 or O, but as it’s a wide band the fit is smaller – and this ring cannot be resized
• Band is 9.4mm wide
• Weight is 4.9 grams
• In excellent antique condition
• Will come in a Karen Deakin gift box (my antique boxes are not for sale)
• Note: some of the other antique rings are for sale separately – please get in touch if you’d like information about any of them

Please examine the photographs carefully – they form part of the description.

I’d be very happy to send more information and images. Layaway available.
