Ask a question

These are simply the best antique Wedgwood earrings I have ever seen, let alone owned.

I am issuing a challenge to all you Wedgwood collectors – show me better! (I’ve looked online at all my sources. Perhaps I’ve missed something … )

I bought them in about 1980, early one Wednesday morning in London’s Camden Passage antique market, and wore them for years.

But now I feel it is time for them to go to someone younger, or even to a museum.

I particularly like the gold detailing and the three separate sections, all articulated, adding movement when worn.

The close-up photos show the very fine work on the jasperware.

• Handmade in jasperware stoneware and 18-carat yellow gold

• Approximately 6cm (2 1/2 inches) long, not including ear wires; 1.4cm (just over 1/2 inch) wide

• Weight is 12.1 grams

• In excellent antique condition

• Will come in a Karen Deakin gift box

Please examine the photographs carefully – they form part of the description.

I’d be very happy to send more information and images. Layaway available.
